This is an event any sports fan will not want to miss. Our events are open to the public for a $20.00 ticket fee. \n\nNBA Hall of Famer and Heat Co-Founder Billy Cunningham to Speak. After his All-American seasons at University of North Carolina\, Billy spent 11 years with the Philadelphia 76ers and Carolina Cougars\, winning a championship as both a player and a coach in the NBA.  An eight-time NBA All-Star\, he lent his considerable talents to being part of the original team that was awarded the expansion Miami Heat in the mid-1980s.  The event will celebrate the history of the Miami Heat\, growth of collegiate and professional basketball in South Florida\, and the overall impact of sports on the region. \n\nJoin us Monday\, May 2 for our luncheon. As an actor Flynn has appeared in a number of movies including the The Heartbreak Kid with Ben Stiller\, Me\, Myself and Irene with Jim Carey as well as starring as one of the series “most popular boyfriends” as voted by viewers\, on HBO’s hit series SEX AND THE CITY. Kevin is also the Executive Director of The Nantucket Comedy Festival in support of a non-profit “Stand-Up and Learn”\, an ongoing project that teaches school kids self-confidence through stand-up. DESCRIPTION: \n\n\n\n\n\nAbout this event\n\nThis month’s focus will be on the Business of Golf and its impact on our great state of Florida. \n\n\n\nAfter 50 years since the Miami Dolphins became the first South Florida professional sports franchise in 1965\, the Sports Business Club of the Palm Beaches holds its inaugural meeting to celebrate the Treasure Coast as an epicenter of professional and amateur sports. \nPat Rooney and Rick Horrow will co-chair this event\, and a series of regular events that follow. The Sports Business Club will be the first of its kind in the region to celebrate and explore all components of the 50 years of the sports business in the Palm Beaches. The first event will take place at the Palm Beach Kennel Club Paddock Room on Wednesday\, January 12th\, at 7:00 p.m. Featuring local sports and economic development leaders: \n\nHonda Classic Executive Director Ken Kennerly\n\n\nNational Golf Foundation President Joe Beditz\n\n\nPGA Tour Golfer (to be announced) \n\nThe event will be held on Wednesdays\, following the weekly “South Florida Boardroom” show that Rick Horrow hosts with Ken Lavicka on ESPN Palm Beaches. The Sports Business Club will be the first of its kind in the region to celebrate and explore all components of the 50 years of the sports business in the Palm Beaches. The first event will take place at the Palm Beach Kennel Club Paddock Room on Wednesday\, November 10\, at 7:00 p.m. Featuring local sports and economic development leaders: \n\nHonda Classic Executive Director Ken Kennerly\n\n\nU.S. Polo ASSN President Michael Prince\n\n\nMiami Marlins veteran announcer Tommy Hutton\n\n\nPalm Beach Sports Commission President George Linley\n\nThe event will be held on Wednesdays\, following the weekly “South Florida Boardroom” show that Rick Horrow hosts with Ken Lavicka on ESPN Palm Beaches. SUMMARY:Michael Winslow “The Voicetramentalist" Live in the Paddock
DESCRIPTION:Michael’s quest for hilarity began in Boulder\, Colorado at a club known as Tulagi’s\, famous for its legendary acts such as Tommy Bolin\, The Doors\, and even Jimi Hendrix himself! \nThis connection with Jimi would continue throughout Mike’s career as he would open for Italian Rock Fusion Band “Nova”\, with a rendition of Purple Haze that was nothing short of magic\, no one can imitate a guitar with just their voice quite like him. His vocal talent was apparent\, but Michael wanted to take it further and start a career as a professional entertainer. \nMichael hit the road with just the clothes on his back and a dream\, taking Venice Beach by storm. He auditioned for just about any act he could find\, and his hard work came to fruition when he auditioned for the Gong Show hosted by Chuck Barris. From the earnings\, he made from that gig he was finally able to purchase a car to perform at even more clubs. It was at the Evening at the Improv Club\, owned by Bud Friedman\, in which he would become a household name in Los Angeles. \nIt was in 1984 where Michael would get his big break from Director Hugh Wilson and Producer Paul Manslanski\, creators of the cult classic Police Academy\, as they saw his talent first hand at the Long Beach Theater. They saw the raw talent that Mike brought to the table and immediately wrote him into the script\, paving his way for a career in cinema\, also taking a role in Mel Brooks’ Space Balls!  \nWhile his talent on screen is apparent\, he is also a skilled voice actor appearing in commercials for companies such as Geico\, but also hit television series such as Family Guy and Robot Chicken. Mike’s versatility really allows him to play any voice role. \nMichael is a true master of his craft\, an artist. He can recreate any sound known to man and more\, limited only by his imagination\, making him a must-see entertainment staple which keeps him quite busy. He has recently finished up a comedy special on the Starz Network with Jimmy Walker\, but he also runs a podcast where you can hear  his unique takes on life and comedy known as the Noize Podcast available on [put the platform here] \nMike’s next big projects involve various animated shows with large network interest\, as well as variety shows in Vegas!
