PBKC BECOMES MASK OPTIONAL EFFECTIVE MAY 5th

West Palm Beach, FL – Palm Beach Kennel Club (PBKC) will institute a mask-optional policy for customers effective Wednesday, May 5, 2021.  This change is pursuant to the State of Florida Office of the Governor Executive Order Number 21-102. Since last year, PBKC has followed all policies and procedures instituted by the local and state governments and dropping the mask requirement is a continuation of this process.

“We want our customers to be comfortable and being mask optional is a step in the right direction on our way to getting our business to normal.  We also respect anyone who wants to wear a mask,” said PBKC President Pat Rooney, Jr.  “They’re definitely welcome to do so, it’s their decision.”

Pat Rooney also pointed out “Even though masks are not required, our organization’s health and safety standards are still a high priority. Our “Clean Team” will still be cleaning, sanitizing, and distancing is definitely an option for anyone who visits PBKC,” he added.

PBKC offers daily poker games and tournaments and simulcast wagering on horses, greyhounds, harness and jai alai as well as two full restaurants and year-round special events.
