Below are some precautions taken to ensure a safe reopening:

  • If sick, instructed to stay home
  • Non-contact temperatures taken of everyone at entrances
  • Face coverings required to enter building
  • Hand sanitizer at entrances and throughout the building
  • Signage specified by CDC detailing how to protect yourself and others from COVID-19
  • Signage for social distancing, which will be strictly enforced
  • Self-serve betting machines offer a contactless service option
  • Indicators on floor to show six feet apart at betting window lines
  • Reduced number of betting windows available
  • Elevator is restricted to no more than two people
  • Menus will be paper and disposable

New Poker Room procedures–these procedures may be amended:

  • Games will be played with a designated number of players to be determined by management
  • The waiting area will not be utilized. Players will be seated upon arrival and games will commence when the designated number of players is achieved
  • Player table transfer requests will not be accepted at this time
  • Players will be required to purchase their initial and buy ins at the cage
  • Dealer rotation will be restricted
  • Chips will be isolated to a specific table. Once chips have been introduced to a game, they can only exit in the following manners: Drop Boxes, Dealer tip boxes, Cashed out at the cashier
  • Once chips are removed from play, they will not be recirculated until after they are sanitized
  • Cards will be sanitized prior to being introduced to any game. Cards will be changed frequently
  • Eating food at the tables will be prohibited
  • Drinks will be served with tabletop cup holders; cup holders will be sanitized prior to being issued to a new customer
  • Hand sanitizer will be used in lieu of a dealer button. When a player has the sanitizer, they are encouraged to use it
  • Dealers will sanitize their hands after arriving at the table
  • All players will be required to sanitize their hands upon initially or subsequently arriving at the table

PBKC utilized the downtime to deep clean the entire facility and to establish the “PBKC Clean Team”. The team will ensure the frequency of cleaning and sanitization of all public spaces with an emphasis on frequent contact surfaces including, but not limited to, door handles, handrails, betting machines, ATMs, counters, dining surfaces and seating areas, escalator, elevator and elevator buttons. PBKC uses cleaning products that meet CDC guidelines for use and are effective against viruses, bacteria and other airborne and bloodborne pathogens.

We will have updates available on our website and through social media.
