FIELD NAMED FOR PALM BEACH KENNEL CLUB’S $50,000 ARTHUR J. ROONEY, SR.PATRICK’S INVITATIONAL!

IT WILL BE A HISTORIC DAY OF GREYHOUND AND THOROUGHBRED RACING, SATURDAY AFTERNOON, NOVEMBER 7!

West Palm Beach, Fl. – Palm Beach Kennel Club has named the eight Greyhounds who will be competing Saturday afternoon, November 7, in the 44th and final running of the $50,000 Arthur J. Rooney, Sr. St. Patrick’s Invitational.

The Invitational was cancelled last March due to the pandemic.

The Arthur J. Rooney, Sr. St. Patrick’s Invitational has gone through several machinations since its inception in 1976.

It started off as a match race between the kennel club and finalists of Hollywood Greyhound Track’s World Classic, and then a match race between Orange Park Kennel Club before becoming strictly a hometown event.

And what a line-up of superstars galore for this year’s much-anticipated running.

We offer for your approval the best and brightest of our early speedsters and monster finishers. Early in the $50,000 Arthur J. Rooney, Sr. St. Patrick’s Invitational be looking for the fleet-footed entries of Bug Brush, JD Replicate and Opal Long. On the back and home stretches, keep a keen eye on the impressive powerhouse closers Barts Sea Hawk, CBJ Shocker, Freedom’s Fawn, Mineral Spirits and Pat C Inferno.

It should be noted that Barts Sea Hawk is the only $50,000 Arthur J. Rooney, Sr. St. Patrick’s Invitational entry who was originally selected to compete in last March’s cancelled event.

The 2020 running of the Invitational will certainly go down in the history books as being one of the most competitive ever!
