The eight semifinalists who did not make the final will compete in the Andrew Holmes Memorial Award Feature.

Points will carryover throughout the entire stake series.

Qualifying races will be held in races 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 15.

A quick rundown of Saturday afternoon’s qualifying events:

Race 2: No first-round winners in this event. This qualifier is truly wide open with some entries drawing good post positions and some coming off some truly great efforts.

Race 4: Again, no round-one victors in this qualifier. This event is chockfull of the track’s best early speedsters and the best late-kick artists.

Race 6: This event features round-one winner and entry in the $50,000 Arthur J. Rooney, Sr. St. Patrick’s Invitational, #2 Barts Sea Hawk (Gold Town* – Seadon Traveler, James Douglas). His main threat for a repeat win comes in the sleek form of strong first-turn rusher #1 Open Throttle (Need My Moneynow – MW’s Morrigan, D. Q. Williams).

Race 8: This qualifier highlights first-round winner #2 B’s Americano (SH Avatar – Oaks Mocha, Janie Carroll). Her big come-from-behind victory was spectacular. Possible threats include the well-positioned #1 CBJ Martina (Flying Westover – CBJ Ellen, Arthur Agganis) and #8 AMF No Myth Here (Kiowa Myth – AMF Pastie (B & B Racing).

Race 10: This event features first-round winner #2 Oshkosh Thriller (Oshkosh Lamont – Oshkosh Amber, James Douglas). Several entries could have a chance at putting an end to Thriller’s three-race win streak including #3 Abbi’s Frontman (Superior Panama – ABS Almighty, Janie Carroll) and #8 JD Handmade (Dyna Double One – JD Happy Tears, Brindle Kennel).

Race 12: Without a doubt, the post-time favorite will be round-one victory #2 Steve Flemmi (Pat C Clement – Winta Garoppolo, Rader Racing). Unlike in the first round, Flemmi will not go box-to-wire. Possible threats could come from early speedster #3 Mister Red Rader (Flying Titanium – Rip N Runnin, B & B Racing), #6 Mineral Spirits (Who Says I Can’t – Good Luck Ruby, D. Q. Williams) and the well-positioned huge closer #8 Coin Collector (Kinda Cruel Red – Daytona, Janie Carroll).

Race 14: Most likely, the post-time favorite will be one of two first-round winners, #8 KBJ Powerplay (Time Flies – Roann Danseuse, Rader Racing), who will be going for his fifth-consecutive victory. Challenging Powerplay will be the other first-round qualifying winner, #2 FF Dive Bar (Pat C Sabbath – FF Boom Boom, Suncoast), who will be going for her third-straight win.

Race 15: The Greyhound to beat in the days final Legacy qualifying event is our recently crowned winner of the $50,000 Arthur J. Rooney, Sr. St. Patrick’s Invitational, #5 Bug Brush (SH Avatar – Flying Lipstick, Lester Raines). Bug Brush won his first-round event in the fastest 545-Yard Royal Palm Course qualifying event of the entire day, 29.63 seconds. His main challenge will come Rader Racing Kennel’s first-round victor #6 Opal Long (Pat C Clement – Winta Garoppolo, Rader Racing).

Post time for the first race Saturday afternoon is 1:00pm.

Point System: – 1st – 15 points, 2nd – 10 points, 3rd – 6 points, 4th – 4 points, 5th – 3 points,
