ME NO CARE REMAINS UNDEFEATED GOING INTO ROUND 3 OF PALM BEACH KENNEL CLUB’S
$20,000 DICK ANDREWS FUTURITY, SATURDAY AFTERNOON, DECEMBER 15!
West Palm Beach, Fl. – Qualifying for Palm Beach Kennel Club’s $20,000 Dick Andrews Futurity continues with third-round action Saturday afternoon, December 15.
After two rounds and 8 qualifying races, Rader Racing Kennel’s Me No Care will enter round three as the only undefeated Futurity entry.
A quick go-over of Saturday afternoon’s third round of qualifying:
In Race 10, the only pup that has scored a qualifying win is the early-speedster #2 Jackrabbit Slim (Gable Sour Cream – Mavericks Penny, Rader Racing). He looks to be in a good spot to get the early lead again but, should keep a close eye on the well-posted #1 PJS Its All Me (Rhythmless – PJS Reckless, Arthur Agganis).
Race 12 features the undefeated #5 Me No Care (Coldwater Keelin – Royal Mosaic). Other third-rounders to put on your tickets, the very-well posted #1 PJ Distorted (KC And All – Kelsos Jenna, Agganis), #3 Turbo Tobi (U Too Pure Silk – TB’s Torque, Rader Racing) and #7 Amazing Gigi (BD’s Grayson – Amazing Chesney, James Douglas Kennel).
Race 14 highlights round-one victor #1 Duxbury (Pat C Clement – WW Lonesome Dove, Rader Racing). This impressive young pup will absolutely have the early room to rush the first turn and looks to score an easy win.
Race 15 features three qualifying round winners, #3 Pat C Stolz (Rico’s Vintage – Pat C April Oak, Koppe, Staats & Collins Kennel), #6 Goodluck Oliver (Offthebreakdrake – Goodluck Topaz, D. Q. Williams Kennel) and #8 PJ Soul Survivor (Djays Octane – Blackjack Ignite, Rader Racing). There are many scenarios for the outcome of this event, but going by post position, Oliver and Soul Survivor appear to be in the best spots.
The top 16-point earners following the third round will advance to the Futurity semifinals slated for Wednesday afternoon, December 19.
The $20,000 Dick Andrews Futurity championship final will be contested Wednesday afternoon, December 26.
Post time for the first race Saturday afternoon is 1:00 p.m. with gates opening at 11:30 a.m.
In addition, we will be offering a $10,000 Guaranteed Pick-4 on races nine through twelve.
The Futurity is named in honor of former PBKC kennel operator, humanitarian and 2004 inductee to the Greyhound Hall of Fame Dick Andrews.
