SEMIFINAL ACTION IN PALM BEACH KENNEL CLUB’S $20,000 GALLAGHER / KINNAIRD PUPPY STAKES, MONDAY AFTERNOON, AUGUST 26!
WILL RAFE UP THERIVER ENTER THE FINAL UNDEFEATED?
West Palm Beach, Fl. – The eight finalists for the eighteenth running of Palm Beach Kennel Club’s $20,000 Gallagher / Kinnaird Puppy Stakes will be determined Monday afternoon, August 26, as the track holds its final two qualifying races leading up to the main event.
Semifinal events will be contested in the twelfth and fourteenth races of the afternoon, with the eight highest total point earners advancing to the championship final on Monday afternoon, September 2, Labor Day.
Following three rounds of qualifying, the leading point scorer is Rader Racing Kennel’s Rafe Up Theriver, who is undefeated in three rounds of qualifying and will be going for his fifth-consecutive victory.
Monday afternoon’s two semifinal races, in post-position order:

The $20,000 Gallagher / Kinnaird Puppy Stakes championship final will be contested Monday afternoon, September 2, Labor Day.
Post time for the first race Monday afternoon is 1:00 p.m. with gates opening at 11:30 a.m.
Formerly known as the Labor Day Puppy Stakes, this marks the eleventh year of its’ new title, named in memory of two Palm Beach County legendary sportscasters, and great friends of the Palm Beach Kennel Club, Jim Gallagher and Buck Kinnaird.
