SEMIFINALS FOR PALM BEACH KENNEL CLUB’S $20,000 BOB BALFE PUPPY STAKES SUNDAY AFTERNOON, APRIL 21! 

WILL PAT C SLY COOPER ENTER THE FINALE UNDEFEATED?

          West Palm Beach, Fl. – After three qualifying rounds and 20 competitive events, the field has been trimmed to the sweet sixteen, as Palm Beach Kennel Club presents semifinal action in the $20,000 Bob Balfe Puppy Stakes Sunday afternoon, April 21.

Following a wild and unpredictable third round, Koppe, Staats & Collins Pat C Sly Cooper came out as the only undefeated Puppy Stakes qualifier. On Sunday, Sly Cooper will be going for his sixth-consecutive victory and will be breaking from the very beneficial one post position.

Sunday afternoon’s semifinal lineup:

The top eight-point scorers following Sunday afternoon’s semifinals will comprise the field for the 53rd running of the $20,000 Bob Balfe Puppy Stakes on Saturday afternoon, April 27.

Post time for the first of 15 Superfecta races Sunday afternoon is 1:00 p.m.

The Puppy Stakes is named in honor of former Palm Beach Post Time sports columnist and great friend to Greyhound racing Bob Balfe.
