KENTCUKY DERBY FEST AT PBKC SAT., MAY 4TH – THE BEST PARTY SOUTH OF CHURCHILL DOWNS!
West Palm Beach, FL – Come out for Kentucky Derby Fest Saturday, May 4 at Palm Beach Kennel Club – It’s the Best Party South of Churchill Downs and PBKC’s biggest day of the year, celebrating the 150th running of the Run for the Roses. PBKC is Palm Beach County’s only location to watch, wager and win on this historic event. Check out the On-Track party featuring a jumbo screen with all the racing action, live music from Sippin’ Fire, Derby Hat Contest and Parade, BBQ Food Tent, Bars, Mint Juleps, Fun Activities and more. You can also enjoy the delicious all-you-can-eat Paddock Restaurant Buffet or great seating and service in the Terrace.

– Kentucky Derby Fest at PBKC – The Best Party South of Churchill Downs –
-9:30am – PBKC Gates & Mutuel Windows Open/10:30AM Churchill Post Time
-From 9:30am – Kentucky Derby (t-shirts, hats, Kentucky Derby glasses) and PBKC Souvenirs will be for sale at the Information Center on the 1st Floor.
Paddock Restaurant Open 9:30am – 8pm:
-Limited Breakfast Menu -9:30am-11am
-Noon – 4pm Paddock Kentucky Derby Buffet – $60 per person (includes tax, tip, soft beverage) – call 561-683-2222 ext. 199 call for reservations or book online. Buffet: chicken piccata, prime rib marsala, mahi Francese, penne ala vodka, crudité, meat and cheese platter, Italian sub, sides, desserts, soft beverage.
-5:30pm-8pm – Limited dinner menu
Terrace Restaurant Open 9:30am – 8pm:
Call to make reservations 561-683-2222 ext. 370 and enjoy great seating, full bar and the Kentucky Derby Day special menu.
On Track Kentucky Derby Fest – 3:00 – 7:30pm
-Kentucky Derby Food & Bars Open –
-Food Tent: Enjoy Chicken or Steak Tacos, ¼ BBQ Chicken, Pulled Pork Sandwich, Hamburgers, Italian Sausage w/onions, peppers, sides, desserts and more.
-Trackside Bars: Featuring mixed drinks, beer, wine, soft drinks, water, and Mint Juleps with Kentucky Derby glasses available for purchase.
-From 3PM – 3 Card Table set up / Corn Hole set up near Paddock on track
-Jumbo TV Screen on track showing racing from Churchill Downs
-3pm – 7:15pm Sippin’ Fire band performs on track
–2-4pm – 95.9FM True Oldies Handicapping Contest – Visit the True Oldies table (outside the 1st floor Poker Room) for Derby handicapping tips and to enter to win great prizes including a Margaritaville Cruise, PBKC VIP experience and dining certificates.
-4pm –Kentucky Derby Hat Contest with Virginia from the KVJ Show (97.9 FM WRMF REMOTE 4-6 PM) – Anyone interested in entering the Hat Contest should report to the 1st Floor Info Center to get their entry # anytime before 3:45pm. The KD Hat parade featuring emcee Virginia, will take place on track soon after. Judges will award prizes to top hats and special categories.
-5pm – 7:00pm – Derby Day Bugler performs throughout the track
